Mounting Method

My prefered mounting method to take my picture with the Lily-Pod is to use it atop of my 12" standard pedestal extension.  This is a comfortable, managable postion and allows you to take both portrait and landscape photos.  This method also provides quick and easy removal of the entire Lily-Pod/camera assembly for running to your next spot without having to remove the pedestal extension.  As a side note, pedestal extensions may be stacked to achieve a higher base for the Lily-Pod.

General Tips

• Align your camera with something horizontal on your boat, like the deck
• Avoid photographing with the sun directly into the camera lens
• Make sure your background compliments, rather than detracts from your picture
• Experiment with different camera angles and heights
• Take several pictures of each fish
• Always review if you're not sure if you got the shot
